Deck overview

This deck is a high-power sans-Green Polymorph Control deck helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The strategy leverages low-cost token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Lingering Souls to create cheap fodder. On turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and uses his -3 loyalty ability to exile a token, polymorphing into one of eleven game-ending creatures including Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, and Archfiend of Despair. Jace's +1 ability conveniently puts high-mana creatures drawn into hand onto the bottom of the library, keeping the polymorph pool fully stocked. Alternatively, Mass Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny can turn several tokens into the entire creature package at once. The deck protects its setup with format-defining free interaction like Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat. Once the board is established, unblockable flying damage amplified by Archfiend of Despair closes out the game on turn 6.
