Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal strategy centered on Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Its goal is to accelerate mana in the early turns using green land ramp, cost reducers, and Gate synergies, enabling an on-curve Turn 5 deployment of Miirym. Once the commander is on the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon spell triggers a nonlegendary copy token, immediately doubling the board's offensive power and trigger value. High-end threats like Ancient Silver Dragon, Twinflame Tyrant, and Ganax, Astral Hunter quickly overwhelm the table with massive flying attacks and direct burn. The deck also includes shapeshifters and clone effects that trigger Miirym or duplicate opposing utility, alongside a compact infinite-token combo between Astral Dragon and Cursed Mirror. Defensive interaction such as Stubborn Denial and Gaea's Gift helps shield key threats, while Garruk's Uprising and Dragon's Hoard keep resources flowing.
