Deck overview

Hearthhull, the Worldseed leads a synergistic Jund lands-matter deck designed to turn land sacrifice and recursion into card advantage, life drain, and combat pressure. The early game focuses on deploying 1- and 2-mana ramp pieces to cast Hearthhull ahead of curve. Once on the battlefield, stationing Hearthhull with early utility creatures unlocks its draw engine, allowing you to sacrifice lands for fresh cards and additional land drops. Graveyard recursion cards like Ramunap Excavator, Walk-In Closet, and Aftermath Analyst turn these sacrifices into continuous card velocity. In the mid-to-late game, the deck accelerates toward its win condition by stationing Hearthhull to eight charge counters. At this threshold, Hearthhull becomes a 6/7 flying attacker that drains each opponent for two life whenever a land is sacrificed. Combining free sacrifice outlets like Zuran Orb and Sylvan Safekeeper with mass recursion spells like Splendid Reclamation deals lethal drain across the table while an efficient removal suite keeps opposing threats under control.
