Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is a legendary Wizard spellslinger that wins through combat, not infinite combos. Gandalf, Party Guest gives you a free instant or sorcery at the start of each combat, where the allowed mana value equals twice the number of legendary Wizards you control. You assemble Wizards like Adeliz, Balmor, Kykar, and Niv-Mizzet, then chain instants and sorceries to pump the team, make Spirit and Drake tokens, and draw cards. The primary win is a pumped board or stealing all creatures with Insurrection, often with an extra combat from Full Throttle. Secondary wins come from Niv-Mizzet and Vivi Ornitier pings and Call Forth the Tempest. Kykar, Wind's Fury acts as the hidden commander, supplying bodies and mana for every spell chain.
