Deck overview

This deck is an X-spells combo-midrange list commanded by Zaxara, the Exemplary. The primary game plan accelerates into Zaxara on turn three or four, then attaches Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura to generate infinite colored mana. Zaxara taps for two mana of any one color, and the aura untaps it for a single blue mana, netting one mana per loop. Once infinite mana is established, the deck immediately converts the surplus into a lethal game ender using Exsanguinate, or by drawing the entire library with Blue Sun's Zenith or Pull from Tomorrow to assemble a decisive finish. If the combo pieces are delayed, the deck seamlessly pivots into a formidable midrange strategy.
