Deck overview

This deck is a classic Temur Dragon tribal strategy commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. The primary plan accelerates through early turns with low-cost ramp artifacts and sorceries to cast Miirym ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once Miirym is active, every subsequent Dragon spell produces a nonlegendary token clone, effectively doubling power, combat presence, and enter-the-battlefield triggers. Threats like Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas convert these doubled entries into lethal direct burn, while Old Gnawbone and Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient generate immense mana bursts to chain further threats. Power-based card draw engines such as Elemental Bond and Temur Ascendancy refill the hand on every entry, maintaining relentless momentum. While the deck possesses explosive mid-game damage and strong targeted protection, its heavy reliance on a 6-mana commander makes it susceptible to well-timed board sweepers and mana disruption.
