Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-green token aggro strategy built around Shroofus Sproutsire. The game plan leverages dense 1-mana ramp to deploy Shroofus on Turn 2, followed by targeted pump spells like Invigorate, Giant Growth, or cheap tribal anthems on Turn 3. Because Shroofus creates 1/1 Saproling tokens equal to the combat damage it deals to a player, single-target power boosts multiply token production exponentially. By Turn 4, the deck transitions from tall commander damage into a wide army, utilizing mass pump effects like Beastmaster Ascension, Coat of Arms, and Overrun to threaten lethal damage across the table. Supported by standalone token engines such as Tendershoot Dryad and efficient instant-speed protection like Tyvar's Stand and Blossoming Defense, the deck reliably closes games on Turn 5 while maintaining strong backup aggression against targeted removal.
