Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Boros Dwarf-tribal deck that weaponizes Treasure tokens both as ramp and as fuel for a combat loop. Thorin, King of Durin's Folk creates Treasure on every Dwarf ETB and pumps the board, while the buried engine of Magda, Brazen Outlaw, The Reaver Cleaver, Thorin, Company's Leader, and Aggravated Assault converts combat damage into an infinite chain of extra combats. Secondary graces include drawing through Balin, Loremaster and winning via Hellkite Tyrant's artifact-count trigger. The commander is an enhancer rather than a required engine; the real engine lives in the 99. When assembled, the loop wins the same turn by attacking infinitely with trampling Dwarves.
