Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Amalia Benavides Aguirre alongside Lurrus of the Dream-Den as a companion, operating under a strict permanent mana value restriction of 2 or less. The deck curves low-cost lifegain permanents (soul sisters) into Amalia on Turn 2, using lifegain triggers to activate explore continuously. Explore filters land drops straight into hand while stocking the graveyard with aristocrats and utility creatures. On Turn 5, the deck casts a mass reanimation spell such as Raise the Past or Rally the Ancestors, returning the entire graveyard at once. The simultaneous creature entries trigger mass lifegain, boosting Amalia to exactly 20 power. Amalia's triggered board wipe then destroys all other creatures, causing an overwhelming stack of aristocrat death triggers from Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Zulaport Cutthroat to drain all three opponents to zero simultaneously. The deck boasts extreme engine resilience and card velocity, balanced by vulnerability to instant graveyard hate.
