Deck overview

This is a snow-permanents value deck built around the unique front face of Jorn, God of Winter // Kaldring, the Rimestaff. The core plan is to deploy snow mana sources and cheap snow synergists, then attack with Jorn to untap every snow permanent - effectively doubling your mana each combat. That engine fuels big X-spells like Exsanguinate, massive snow creatures like Abominable Treefolk and Icebreaker Kraken, and a stax subtheme where Winter Orb, Winter Moon, and Stasis become one-sided when Jorn untaps your snow lands. The back face, Kaldring, the Rimestaff, offers steady graveyard recursion for snow permanents. A secondary "fast combo" package of Dark Depths + Vampire Hexmage or Thespian's Stage can end a game out of nowhere with a 20/20 indestructible Marit Lage, while Marit Lage's Slumber provides a longer-horizon backup path to the same token. The deck's velocity hinges on Jorn connecting in combat, but the snow land base and value creatures allow it to grind even under disruption.
