Tannuk, Steadfast Second (duplicated from darknesstorm) by Darknesstorm

Format: Commander

Commander: Tannuk, Steadfast Second

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tannuk, Steadfast Second is the deck's haste-and-warp engine, letting you pay {2}{R} to put artifact/red creatures into play for one turn and then recast them from exile. The primary plan is to cheat huge dragons and artifact monsters into combat, generate red mana with Neheb, the Eternal and treasures, then chain extra combat steps or finish with Blightsteel Colossus plus Chandra's Ignition. Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded and Sneak Attack act as redundancy for Tannuk, while Neheb, the Eternal is the hidden commander that converts early combat damage into massive postcombat mana. The deck relies on fast rituals and treasures to power these explosive, one-turn warp lines rather than on a long board.
