Format: Commander

Commander: Purphoros, God of the Forge

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Purphoros, God of the Forge is both the commander and the finisher. The deck accelerates into a wide red token board before and after Purphoros lands, converting every creature that enters under your control into table-wide damage. Early turns use goblin/eldrazi token spells and mana rocks; midgame turns use Krenko, Chancellor of the Forge, and Goblin Rally to spike the ETB count. Damage doublers and Impact Tremors reduce the number of triggers needed. There is no hidden commander; Norin the Wary is a recursion/protection piece. Sacrifice outlets turn tokens into mana or damage, letting the deck chain more token spells and recover from wraths.
