Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Theft Midrange strategy led by Gonti, Canny Acquisitor. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana on early turns, deploying evasive combat creatures like Thief of Sanity and Silent Hallcreeper, and casting Gonti on Turn 4. Connecting with creatures exiles cards from opponents' libraries and allows them to be cast with generic mana at a {1} discount. In the mid-to-late game, the deck scales into devastating theft bombs including Thieving Amalgam, Mind's Dilation, Xanathar, Guild Kingpin, and Villainous Wealth to overwhelm opponents with their own spells. While the deck boasts high card flow and redundant theft engines, it relies heavily on creature combat and lacks dedicated fast combo finishes or hard lock stax elements.
