A Murder of Crows by user8368050

Format: Commander

Commander: Rendmaw, Creaking Nest

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Rendmaw, Creaking Nest is the engine of a Golgari "multi-type" token deck: artifact lands, artifact creatures, kindred spells, and enchantment creatures all trigger Bird creation, and the goaded Birds apply pressure while you develop an artifact-recursion shell. The primary win is a go-wide flying attack with Coat of Arms and Primal Vigor, backed by a compact infinite-mana loop using Ashnod's Altar, Nim Deathmantle, Wurmcoil Engine, and Primal Vigor into Exsanguinate. Secondary paths recycle artifacts through Imotekh the Stormlord and Scrap Trawler into Necron tokens and drain via Blood Seeker, Falkenrath Noble, or Vein Ripper. Imotekh acts as a lieutenant, but there is no true hidden commander.
