Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Enchantress midrange strategy commanded by Zur, Eternal Schemer. It establishes early defense and card flow using durable enchantments like Black Market Connections, Blind Obedience, and Propaganda. Once Zur is deployed, non-Aura enchantments transform into lethal attackers with base power equal to their mana value, gaining hexproof, deathtouch, and lifelink. The deck scales into the midgame with powerful token generators such as Hallowed Haunting and Sigil of the Empty Throne, while Sphere of Safety makes retaliatory combat virtually impossible. It closes games by overrunning opponents with evasive, lifelinking enchantment armies or through an infinite life-drain loop with Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond or Enduring Tenacity. Mass graveyard recursion like Redress Fate and Resurgent Belief provides great recovery against conventional board wipes.
