Deck overview

Tom, Bert, and William is a Golgari high-power sacrifice deck that turns big creatures into cards. The primary plan is to ramp into large beaters, sacrifice them to the commander to draw seven or more cards, and convert those draws into damage with Psychosis Crawler and Starving Revenant. Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord acts as a hidden commander, flinging huge threats for life loss, while Living Death reanimates the whole graveyard for a hasty combat kill. The deck is midrange, needing a few turns to assemble the sacrifice-draw engine, then finishing with a single explosive turn. The commander's five-mana cost and the need for secondary payoffs keep the goldfish from being faster.
