Format: Commander

Commander: Marneus Calgar

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is an Esper token-generation deck helmed by Marneus Calgar, built around the commander's "draw a card whenever one or more tokens enter" trigger. The plan is to deploy a dense suite of token engines - Bitterblossom, Black Market Connections, Endless Foot Assault, Thalisse, Reverent Medium - and multiply them with Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, and Stridehangar Automaton to convert every token into cards and life-drain. The primary kill is an Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal infinite-mana engine that fuels Marneus's {6} activation for infinite tokens, finished by Mirkwood Bats drain or a decked-out Laboratory Maniac. Secondary paths include token-swarm combat, Mechanized Production, and Kambal, Profiteering Mayor drain. The deck is a fast, tutor-backed combo shell with a strong token midrange fallback.
