Deck overview

T'Challa, the Black Panther turns large artifact spells into both mana-producing Vibranium tokens and +1/+1 counters. The deck therefore wants early land ramp and inexpensive artifacts, followed by four- or more-mana artifacts that develop the battlefield while growing the commander. Sol Ring, Birds of Paradise, Nature's Lore, Three Visits, and Sword of the Animist help reach this plan. Equipment gives the deck several ways to convert a developed board into cards or damage: Cloud, Midgar Mercenary finds Equipment, Vibranium Strike Gauntlets draws from combat, and Genji Glove provides two combat phases for one attacker. The main weakness is timing. The deck usually needs six turns to become operational, eight turns to present decisive pressure, and several more combat steps to eliminate three opponents. It has useful removal and protection, but no compact combo, hard lock, or reliable stack-based defense.
