Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis combat-spellslinger strategy led by Fire Lord Azula. Azula generates two red mana through firebending and copies every spell cast while she attacks. The deck uses early cost-reducers like Goblin Electromancer and mana rocks to deploy Azula on Turn 3 or 4. Once attacking, Azula copies instant-speed draw, rituals, and burn spells during combat steps. Payoff creatures such as Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Guttersnipe turn these doubled spells into massive mana, fresh cards, and direct damage to every opponent. High-impact spells like Big Score, Frantic Search, and Display of Power generate huge card velocity, while Thousand-Year Storm and Comet Storm close out games. The deck runs a versatile suite of counterspells and targeted removal to protect Azula and disrupt opposing threats, finishing games around Turn 6 through overwhelming storm sequences and table-wide burn.
