Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-white poison strategy led by Skrelv, Defector Mite. The primary game plan deploys low-cost toxic and infect creatures early, utilizing Skrelv's repeatable activated ability to grant targeted unblockability and color-specific hexproof. By bypassing blockers and insulating key attackers from spot removal, the deck rapidly applies poison counters to opponents. Mid-game turns scale pressure through anthem effects like Intangible Virtue and Benalish Marshal, token generation from cards such as Mite Overseer and Charge of the Mites, and incremental proliferate triggers via Metastatic Evangel and Contagion Clasp. The interaction suite features premier white exile removal including Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, and Farewell, paired with light stax pieces like Phyrexian Censor to slow opposing development. While the deck boasts high speed and commander-centric protection, it relies heavily on sustained combat connections across multiple turns, making it vulnerable to recurring board wipes and multi-colored defenses.
