Deck overview

This mono-white deck focuses on a classic lifegain and +1/+1 counters strategy, commonly known as a Soul Sisters archetype. Commanded by Liliana the Faultless, the deck aims to deploy cheap creatures that trigger repeatable lifegain upon entering the battlefield. These triggers rapidly grow threats like Ajani's Pridemate, Essence Channeler, and Twinblade Paladin into formidable attackers. Supported by an Angel tribal subtheme with Giada, Font of Hope and Lyra, Archangel of Dawn, the deck builds wide and tall boards. It features robust defensive tools including Teferi's Protection, Dawn's Truce, and Liliana's built-in hexproof activation to shield key pieces from opposing interaction. While it provides strong early-game board presence, the deck relies on fair combat damage to win, eliminating opponents sequentially over several turns rather than through burst combos.
