Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and storm combo deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The primary strategy focuses on casting low-cost cantrips and noncreature spells to rapidly grow Vivi's power, trigger widespread burn damage across all opponents, and generate massive bursts of mana through Vivi's zero-mana activation. This mana acceleration enables the deck to chain high-impact card draw spells, duplicate powerful instants and sorceries, and assemble decisive win conditions. The deck can close games through sustained spell storm burn, mass spell recursion with Mizzix's Mastery and Wisdom of Ages, self-mill into Laboratory Maniac, or the compact two-card combo of Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity. A dense suite of countermagic and efficient interaction protects the board and disrupts opposing game plans while maintaining high mana efficiency. With strong redundancy among cantrips, cost reducers, and draw engines, the deck reliably establishes its core engine by Turn 4 and executes a lethal finish by Turn 6.
