Deck overview

This deck uses Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer to turn incoming damage into lethal power while maintaining strict control of the board. Anti-Venom prevents all damage dealt to him and converts each prevented point into a +1/+1 counter. By combining him with damage-redirection effects like Pariah and With Great Power . . ., you become immune to combat and burn damage while continuously supercharging your commander. The deck supports this engine with heavy land-fetching ramp, efficient single-target exile removal, and flexible sweepers. A massive suite of cheap protection spells, including Flawless Maneuver, Flare of Fortitude, and Dawn's Truce, safeguards Anti-Venom against non-damage removal and board wipes. Once deployed on Turn 5, Anti-Venom equips evasion and double strike through tools like Leyline Axe, Inquisitor's Flail, or Akroma's Will to eliminate opponents sequentially across Turns 6 through 8 via overwhelming commander damage.
