Deck overview

This deck combines Azorius control, lifegain engines, and mill win conditions under Hope Estheim. The strategy focuses on establishing low-cost soul-sister creatures and defensive pillowfort pieces early to stabilize life totals and stall opposing attacks. Once an engine is active, lifegain multipliers like Boon Reflection, Rhox Faithmender, and Alhammarret's Archive exponentially scale life totals. Hope Estheim translates every life point gained directly into cards milled from each opponent's library at the end step. The deck culminates on Turn 6 by resolving massive burst spells such as Beacon of Immortality or Heliod's Intervention, emptying libraries in a single rotation. Robust countermagic, spot exile, and asymmetric board wipes protect the board while secondary paths like Aetherflux Reservoir and Bruvac the Grandiloquent ensure alternative routes to victory.
