Lifedrinker V5 by DawnOfHavoc

Format: Commander

Commander: Karlov of the Ghost Council

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Karlov of the Ghost Council is the sole commander; this is a lifegain-and-trigger deck built around Karlov's counter growth. The primary plan is to generate frequent life-gain triggers-Soul Warden, Authority of the Consuls, extort, and soul-sister effects-to make Karlov a large removal threat and a commander-damage clock. The secondary, more compact path is assembling Exquisite Blood with Sanguine Bond, Vito, or Vizkopa Guildmage to convert any life gain into an infinite drain loop. Angel of Destiny, Aetherflux Reservoir, and Archangel of Thune provide independent combat/burn finishes. There is no double-faced commander or hidden commander.
