Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal midrange strategy commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The game plan accelerates mana on turns 2–3 using specialized cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Urza's Incubator, enabling an early deployment of Lathliss. Once established, every subsequent Dragon spell triggers Lathliss to generate a 5/5 flying Dragon token, rapidly doubling power on board and triggering potent ETB damage engines like Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas. The deck applies overwhelming aerial pressure, supplemented by goad mechanics from Disrupt Decorum and Geode Rager to deflect opposing combat and prevent blocks. Damage-based board wipes such as Blasphemous Act and Breath Weapon reset opposing boards while leaving Dragon swarms intact. While the deck possesses explosive combat potential, it relies heavily on untapping with high-CMC creatures and remains vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and enchantment-based locks.
