Deck overview

This is a landfall/earthbend combo-value deck helmed by Toph, the First Metalbender. The commander's artifact-lands ability turns mana rocks and other nontoken artifacts into extra "land" plays for landfall triggers, while the end-step earthbend 2 keeps producing animated land creatures. The broader 99 is dense with additional earthbenders, landfall payoffs, and extra combat effects. The deck plans to ramp heavily, animate lands into big hasty attackers, and win either through a critical-mass Craterhoof Behemoth swing or through combat chains provided by Bumi, Unleashed and Moraug, Fury of Akoum. Ashaya, Soul of the Wild plus Bumi, Unleashed creates an infinite-combat kill, while Omnath, Locus of Rage, Scute Swarm, and Tireless Provisioner supply board and mana advantage. The Legend of Kyoshi // Avatar Kyoshi serves as a powerful value engine, and Gonti's Aether Heart offers an extra turn as a slower backup.
