Deck overview

Zidane is a Boros gift-theft commander. His enters trigger steals one creature for a turn; more importantly, every time an opponent gains control of one of your permanents you make a Treasure. The deck leans into that trigger with Slicer, Alexios, Assault Suit, Bazaar Trader and similar pass-the-parcel effects. Those Treasures feed an artifact-token engine: Smothering Tithe, Academy Manufactor and Xorn multiply tokens, while Reckless Fireweaver drains all opponents. The primary win is Hellkite Tyrant at twenty artifacts; secondary lines steal and sacrifice creatures with Brion Stoutarm, Fling and Goblin Bombardment, or close with Insurrection. Slicer, Hired Muscle // Slicer, High-Speed Antagonist is the hidden commander: a cheap, recurring, artifact beater that also triggers Zidane whenever passed.
