Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Gruul artifact-stompy deck commanded by Aerid Konstrari. The strategy focuses on accelerating through the early turns with efficient mana dorks and artifact ramp to deploy Aerid ahead of curve. Aerid generates Heartwood tokens on entry and death, providing both artifact density and colored mana fixing. The midgame revolves around leveraging Aerid's high base stats and artifact-scaling {6} activation to fuel powerful draw engines like Rishkar's Expertise, Garruk, Primal Hunter, and Greater Good, netting massive card advantage in single bursts. Once established, the deck transitions into lethal threat territory using combat-enhancing equipment, flying commander pressure, and explosive finishers like Chandra's Ignition or an overrun Finale of Devastation. Robust low-cost protection spells, including Deflecting Swat, Legolas's Quick Reflexes, and Sylvan Safekeeper, defend key assets from opposing interaction, allowing the deck to execute a resilient beatdown plan across few response cycles.
