Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is a Phyrexian tribal token deck led by Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos. You cast Phyrexian creatures and artifact creatures to create Incubator tokens, then pay {2} to transform them into Phyrexian artifact creatures. Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos also proliferates at each end step if a Phyrexian died that turn, which grows Incubators, oil counters, and +1/+1 counters. The main way to win is combat with a wide board. Cards like Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Etchings of the Chosen, and Mite Overseer double tokens or pump the team. A second path is drain: Vraan, Executioner Thane, Scheming Aspirant, Suture Priest, and Massacre Wurm punish deaths and proliferate triggers. The deck has no infinite combo and wins by grinding value, not by assembling a single loop. Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos matters for value but the deck can still make tokens and attack without him.
