Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-black reanimator and aristocrats strategy led by Chainer, Dementia Master. It leverages explosive mana generators like Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to fuel instant-speed recursion from any graveyard. The early game focuses on ramping, stocking the graveyard with tutors such as Buried Alive and Entomb, and establishing card draw engines like Necropotence and Black Market Connections. Once Chainer and a sacrifice outlet enter play, the deck locks opposing creature boards with Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos while draining the table through repeated Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Kokusho, the Evening Star triggers. High-impact finishers such as Torment of Hailfire and Living Death provide reliable alternative paths to victory when direct creature loops are contested.
