Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Electro, Assaulting Battery, who acts as both a mana accumulator and a cost-offsetting engine for instant and sorcery spells. The strategy revolves around deploying efficient spell-damage pingers like Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Kessig Flamebreather, then chaining low-cost cantrips, rituals, and impulse card-draw effects. Because Electro retains unspent red mana across phases and turns, surplus mana generated by cards like Mana Geyser, Seething Song, and Braid of Fire is preserved. The deck reaches critical pressure around turn 5 by dealing substantial noncombat damage across the table while banking a massive mana reserve. On turn 6, this stored mana fuels game-ending burn spells such as Jaya's Immolating Inferno or multikicked Comet Storm, incinerating all three opponents simultaneously. The deck features strong redundancy in its burn payoffs and mana engines, though it remains vulnerable to targeted creature removal and countermagic.
