New Untitled Deck by Shanimal

Commander: Marisi, Breaker of the Coil

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Naya goad-and-combat deck helmed by Marisi, Breaker of the Coil, built around a simple but effective loop: deploy evasive attackers, connect with combat damage to trigger Marisi's goad, and let opponents' boards tear each other apart while Marisi's combat lock (opponents can't cast spells during combat) protects your swings. The deck leans on shadow creatures like Soltari Trooper and Soltari Foot Soldier, unblockable outlets like Rogue's Passage and Access Tunnel, and a dense goad package (Disrupt Decorum, Taunt from the Rampart, Vengeful Ancestor, Bothersome Quasit) to keep the table fighting itself. Card advantage comes almost entirely from combat triggers - Toski, Bearer of Secrets, Ohran Frostfang, Aurelia, the Law Above, and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar all draw on damage. The win is incremental combat damage and commander damage, with no infinite combos; the goad lock is the control element that lets a modest board close out the game.
