Mythic Human by Psyga315

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Azorius deck is a Human-token go-wide strategy built around Bard, King of Dale, whose replacement effect turns every extra draw into two cards and every token creation into twice as many tokens. The core loop is the "recruit" mechanic: draw a card, discard a card, and if the discarded card is nonland, create a 1/1 Human Soldier. With Bard online, each recruit trigger nets extra cards and two Soldiers, and payoffs like Mentor of the Meek and Bard the Bowman convert that flood into even more draws and +1/+1 counters. Anthems-Bard's Company, An Unexpected Party // At the Door, Flowering of the White Tree, and The Arkenstone // Seek the Heart-turn the swarm lethal, while Bard, Heir of Girion acts as a hidden second commander. A secondary instant/sorcery subtheme with Glamdring, Foe-hammer // Gleam of Death, Wizard's Staff, and Uncover the Moon-Letters provides cost reduction and massive draw, and The Lord of the Eagles and Gandalf, Shadow's Foe supply late-game reach. There are no infinite combos; the plan is attrition through card advantage and combat.
