Deck overview

This deck is a high-impact Mardu artifact stompy and burn list centered on Megatron, Tyrant // Megatron, Destructive Force. The core game plan utilizes cheap mana rocks to cast Megatron converted on Turn 4. On Turn 5, Megatron attacks, sacrifices a high-mana-value artifact to incinerate an opposing creature, flings excess damage to that player's face, and converts to generate a massive burst of colorless mana. That mana immediately casts devastating threats like Portal to Phyrexia, Triplicate Titan, or damage triplers like Fiery Emancipation. While the deck lacks nonland tutors and countermagic, it compensates with dense redundancy, robust artifact reanimation engines via Daretti, Scrap Savant and Mishra, Tamer of Mak Fawa, and explosive damage scaling to close games by Turn 7.
