Deck overview

The Blue Spirit is a wizard-tempo deck that turns combat into card draw by flashing one creature per turn and drawing whenever a nontoken creature enters during combat. The primary plan is to chain cheap Wizard ETBs, such as bounce, scry, and draw, while holding up instant-speed interaction. Flicker spells convert those ETBs into repeatable advantage, and a compact combo package with Peregrine Drake, Archaeomancer, Naru Meha, and Ghostly Flicker or Illusionist's Stratagem provides a deterministic infinite-mana/draw finish. There is no hidden or double-faced commander; the single-faced The Blue Spirit is a value engine rather than a combo piece. Games usually close through Agent of Treachery stealing the board, a pumped Wizard swarm from Docent of Perfection or Door of Destinies, or Scourge of Fleets clearing blockers.
