Format: Commander

Commander: Adeline, Resplendent Cathar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Adeline, Resplendent Cathar is a go-wide Human/Soldier token commander, and this deck is built to maximize her attack trigger with cheap creatures, token generators, and anthem effects. The primary plan is to attack early and often, using Adeline's scaling power and the three 1/1 tokens she creates each combat to snowball the board. Secondary lines use Preeminent Captain to cheat a Soldier into combat, planeswalker tutoring and Elspeth effects for extra tokens and recursion, and stax pieces like Thalia and Ghostly Prison to buy time. There is no hidden commander; the deck is entirely tuned around Adeline, though it can function if she stays in the command zone.
