Zul Ashur, Lich Lord runs a mono-black zombie engine that fills its graveyard, reanimates key Zombies, and wins through repeated drain loops or an oversized zombie horde. The primary plan is to use Zul's tap ability as a repeatable reanimation spell, setting up a free Gravecrawler sacrifice loop with a cost reducer and a drain payoff. The secondary plan is zombie beats backed by Cemetery Reaper, Death Baron, and Undead Warchief. The commander is the central engine, but backup reanimation in Liliana, Untouched by Death, Phyrexian Delver, Dread Return, and Rot Hulk keeps the deck functional without him. There is no hidden commander; every strategy feeds Zul's graveyard-casting game.
