Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Voltron and artifact synergy strategy centered on Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man. During the early turns, Tony Stark acts as a cheap card-filtering engine, digging four cards deep each turn to assemble powerful Equipment and utility artifacts. On Turn 5, Tony transforms into The Invincible Iron Man, a 5/5 flying haste threat that cheats an artifact into play attached to himself at the start of combat. By cheating high-mana Equipment like Hammer of Nazahn, Nettlecyst, Batterskull, or The Reaver Cleaver, the deck rapidly inflates commander damage while bypassing expensive equip costs. It defends its board using free interaction like Deflecting Swat and hexproof Equipment, closing games through massive evasive strikes, token swarms from Valduk, Keeper of the Flame, or an infinite combat loop with Aggravated Assault and Sword of Feast and Famine.
