Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Azorius combat strategy led by Denzilore Fatehold. The game plan revolves around converting cheap scry and surveil triggers into explosive, board-wide +1/+1 counter growth. Early turns focus on deploying efficient evasive creatures such as Faerie Seer, Augury Owl, and Nightveil Sprite, followed by flashing in the commander on Turn 3 or 4. Once established, every scry cantrip, attack trigger, and enter-the-battlefield effect places counters on all friendly creatures, rapidly scaling a lethal flying army. Evasion enablers like Herald of Secret Streams and asymmetric sweepers like Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye clear opposing defenses. The deck supports its aggressive engine with premier Azorius interaction (Swords to Plowshares, Dovin's Veto) and counter preservation through The Ozolith and Ripples of Potential.
