Deck overview

This deck is a focused Jeskai midrange engine built around Gavi, Nest Warden, leveraging cycling mechanics and 'draw-two' triggers to generate compounding board presence and card velocity. The deck establishes early mana stability with low-cost mana rocks and cycling lands before deploying Gavi on Turn 4–5. Once Gavi is on the battlefield, the ability to cycle the first card each turn for {0} allows the deck to operate effectively on every opponent's turn, creating a steady stream of 2/2 Dinosaur Cat tokens and fueling draw synergies. Transitioning into the mid-to-late game, the deck leverages major force multipliers like The Locust God, Psychosis Crawler, Brallin, Skyshark Rider, and New Perspectives to churn through the library rapidly. Opponents are pressured simultaneously by wide swarms of evasive tokens and recurring burn triggers from cards like Drannith Stinger, closing out games around Turn 7 with additional burst reach provided by Zenith Flare.
