New Untitled Deck by angus

Format: Commander

Commander: Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck pilots Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis as a quintessential group-hug commander, leveraging symmetrical draw and ramp effects to accelerate the entire table while the pilot quietly assembles an alternative win condition. The primary plan is to overload on card-draw per turn, then finish via self-mill (Laboratory Maniac, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries), the exact-hand count of Triskadeikaphile, or a double-cast of Approach of the Second Sun. Insurrection provides a fallback combat win. The deck's engine is its suite of "each player draws" permanents - Howling Mine, Kami of the Crescent Moon, Dictate of Kruphix, and many more - combined with land-acceleration and symmetrical mana doublers like Dictate of Karametra and Heartbeat of Spring. The commander itself contributes a gentle group-draw/group-ramp trigger each end step, keeping the hand full and the land count high. The plan is slow but inexorable: out-draw the table, then close the game with a win condition that cares about card quantity.
