Hydra by user7644672

Format: Commander

Commander: Gargos, Vicious Watcher

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck uses Gargos, Vicious Watcher to dramatically discount Hydra spells and turn single-target protection spells into instant fight-removal triggers. The primary strategy ramps into Gargos, then casts massive Hydras that double in size via counter engines and trample through opposing boards. Secondary win lines include lethal infect via Grafted Exoskeleton or Phyrexian Hydra, widespread burn through Hydra Omnivore, and massive trample overruns using Overwhelming Stampede. By combining aggressive +1/+1 counter scaling with cheap targeted spells, the deck clears opposing threats while building overwhelming power to eliminate all opponents through combat.
