Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Golgari aristocrats and reanimation strategy led by Meren of Clan Nel Toth. The deck focuses on accelerating mana with early mana dorks, filling the graveyard through self-mill creatures and targeted tutors, and establishing a persistent value engine that recurs utility creatures every end step. While it can win through sustained stax and board attrition using Grave Pact, Collector Ouphe, and Sheoldred, Whispering One, its primary win condition is a compact Protean Hulk combo.
