Eowyn

Format: Commander

Commander: Éowyn, Shieldmaiden

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Eowyn, Shieldmaiden leads a Jeskai Human/Knight token swarm. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap Humans and hasty Knight tokens, then multiply their damage with Shared Animosity and Banner of Kinship before taking extra combats with Full Throttle, Eomer, Marshal of Rohan, or Overpowering Attack. Bard, King of Dale acts as a hidden second commander, doubling every token and accelerating the plan. Secondary paths include a monarch subtheme with Aragorn, Boromir, and Forth Eorlingas! as well as a slow but resilient go-wide game through Horn of Gondor, Adeline, and Riders of Rohan. Eowyn is the payoff engine: casting one Human each turn before combat creates two hasty Knights and draws a card when the board is wide enough.
