Commander: Lorehold, the Historian

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lorehold, the Historian leads a spellslinger deck centered on miracle and card advantage. The commander turns every instant and sorcery in hand into a potential two-mana play, while its upkeep ability relentlessly discards and draws to dig toward a finish. The deck aims to cast a high volume of spells to generate Dragons, Elementals, and Treasures, using copy effects to amplify each spell. It closes with Approach of the Second Sun after churning back to it, or with a large Chandra's Ignition from an artifact-heavy Storm-Kiln Artist. The plan is value-heavy and resilient, but it is not a fast combo deck; it wins through sustained tempo, board presence, and one decisive spell.
