Deck overview

This deck is a focused Boros Voltron strategy that utilizes the partner pairing of Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist. Rograkh provides a zero-mana aggressive creature base complete with first strike, menace, and trample, while Ardenn eliminates the mana cost of attaching high-impact Equipment. By casting Rograkh and early Equipment on Turns 1 and 2, then deploying Ardenn on Turn 3, the deck bypasses massive equip costs such as Colossus Hammer and Argentum Armor at the beginning of combat. On Turn 4, Rograkh swings as a lethal commander damage threat against an individual opponent. The deck relies on sequential combat phases to eliminate the table by Turn 6. While vulnerable to mass artifact and creature sweepers and lacking dedicated equipment tutors, the list maintains high redundancy in equipment threats and strong commander recovery.
