Format: Commander

Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a high-tempo Dimir Ninja deck built to exploit Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow's commander ninjutsu. The core loop is simple: drop a cheap unblockable or free evasive creature on turn one, ninjutsu Yuriko in on turn two, and convert every subsequent ninja combat hit into card draw plus table-wide life loss equal to the flipped card's mana value. The deck is loaded with high-mana-value payoff spells - extra turns like Temporal Trespass and Temporal Mastery, delve draw like Dig Through Time and Treasure Cruise, and split/pitch spells like Commit // Memory and Commandeer - that double as huge Yuriko flips and as real game text. It also carries a compact Demonic Consultation / Doomsday + Thassa's Oracle package that can end the game without the commander, and a counter-heavy, instant-speed permission suite that keeps the drain engine ahead of the table. Primary wins: repeated Yuriko drain chains accelerated by extra turns, with the Thoracle combo as the fast alternate finish.
