Deck overview

This Orzhov deck blends Vampire tribal aristocrats with a potent lifegain/drain combo engine. Led by Edgar, Charmed Groom, the deck creates resilient token boards and buffs while using life totals as both a weapon and a resource. The primary path to victory is assembling Exquisite Blood with any reciprocal life-loss payoff, such as Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Marauding Blight-Priest, to initiate an immediate table-wide lethal loop. With premier black tutors and strong white protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Silence, the deck can assemble and shield its win condition efficiently while threatening significant midgame combat and drain pressure if the game goes long.
