We Bare Bears by peanutbh

Format: Commander

Commander: Kudo, King Among Bears

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kudo, King Among Bears turns every creature into a 2/2 Bear, letting cheap creatures, tokens, and draw engines that care about power 2 or less all work together. The primary plan is to resolve Kudo, flood the board with creatures that trigger card draw and token generation, then pump the whole team with +1/+1 counters and anthems. Craterhoof Behemoth and Beastmaster Ascension are the main finishers, while a secondary path assembles Basking Broodscale + Cathars' Crusade for an arbitrarily large board. Ayula, Queen Among Bears and Beorn the Fierce act as hidden lieutenants for the Bear theme. The deck can function without Kudo through its generic go-wide and counter strategies, but he greatly accelerates and unifies the plan.
